The concrete tipping floor surface in the City of Stamford’s transfer station had become deteriorated and delaminated requiring removal and replacement of the concrete.
Rampart was selected because we have extensive experience removing concrete from transfer station tipping floors. We are able to bring our customized equipment and experienced personnel to complete the concrete removal in these unique facilities to help our customer complete their projects successfully.
Rampart removed approximately 24,000 SF of concrete across the tipping floor surface to an approximately depth of 1.75″. Rampart also performed wastewater treatment to lower the total suspended solids and the pH. This project was successfully completed on time and under budget, with no injuries or incidents.
