Tunnels are unique structures that offer a challenge to providing proper surface preparation.  Whether the surface preparation requirement is to clean the surface or remove 4-inches of deteriorated material, hydrodemolition can perform the task quickly.  Due to the confined nature of a tunnel it is often difficult to place a large enough crew within the tunnel to effectively perform the work.

Rampart has developed a unique machine designed to travel in tunnels ranging from 7-feet to 18-feet in diameter.  Inverts can also be done using the Tunnel Master.  The arm rotates continuously as the unit moves down the tunnel.  The Tunnel Master is capable of light scarification as well as deep removals.  The rotating water jet on the end of the arm provides 36,000-psi of cleaning power.  Quality surface preparation is guaranteed when using the Tunnel Master.
