Hydrodemolition was the main method of removal on this award winning project completed in 1994. Chloride contamination and freeze-thaw cycles spurred the restoration and repair of this underground garage. The installation of a cathodic protection system, good surface preparation, and sound repair practices has lead to 13 years (and counting) with "no areas of corrosion-induced deterioration" and "minimal areas of topping debonding."
