 Assistant Project Manager: Rampart Hydro Services is a specialty subcontractor that has an opening for an Assistant Project Manager. The newly created position will assist the Operations Manager with coordinating construction projects and with managing inventory. The position will be fast paced, hands-on and requires the skill of multi-tasking. Responsibilities of the Assistant PM will include, but are not limited to: - *Communicating regularly with field technicians*
- Assist with scheduling personnel and equipment to field projects
- Arranging the project logistics (fuel, air-fare, lodging, equipment transport, rental equipment)
- Set-up initial project field information
- Analyze and record field reports
- Review field expense reports
- After hours phone support for field technicians
- Assist with equipment QC and R&D
Attributes: - Organized, Adaptable and Flexible
- Understanding of basic mechanics
- Construction experience a PLUS
- Willingness to take calls after hours
- Prior military experience a PLUS
- Excellent computer skills: Word, Excel, Internet searching
- PMA (positive mental attitude)
- Go-getter and able to work well with others
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Recommended Minimum Prior Work Experience: - 2-3 years with a transportation company or a heavy/highway construction company
