UHP water blasting was specified to insure that all cracks were cleaned to allow sealer to penetrate all cracks and provide corrosion protection. 98% of the work was performed using the Surface Master. Hand lances were used to clean around the perimeter. Following the cleaning the deck received a fresh water rinse and allowed to dry prior to the application of the sealer.
